Password resets (user initiated)

User-initiated password resets can be made by clicking the reset password link on Special:UserLogin or by visiting Special:ResetPassword.

If you are logged in already, you don't have to follow this process, and instead you can visit Special:ChangePassword.

Are you an admin? If so, see Password resets (admin initiated).

Not receiving password reset email

If you are not receiving a password reset email, there are a few reasons why this might be the case:

1. The account never had an email address associated with it.
2. The account had an email address associated with it, but the email address was never confirmed.
3. The email server blocks the incoming email from noreply@mywikis.com.

In all three of these cases, you can ask the owner of your wiki to reset your password by visiting Self Service.
