Admin-initiated password resets can be made on Self Service if you are a wiki owner, or if you are on a VPS plan, can be done by contacting our support team.
We recommend using Self Service to reset passwords rather than sending a password reset emails because many users tend to forget to set or confirm their emails, which prevents MediaWiki's built-in password reset mechanism from properly functioning.

Resetting on Self Service
- Log in to Self Service.
- On the portal home page, find your wiki. Press your wiki's "Administer wiki" button and select the "Reset a wiki user's password" option.
- Enter the username and password you wish to reset.
