Datencockpit is a GDPR compliance and documentation tool built with Semantic MediaWiki and MediaWiki. It is used by many prominent organizations in the European Union to help with their GDPR compliance and documentation efforts.

- Why is Datencockpit offered on a separate plan?
- Datencockpit requires following special installation and maintenance procedures compared to a normal MediaWiki instance. Therefore, it is considered to be a special plan that is separate from other MyWikis Cloud plans. On all MediaWiki-related aspects, Datencockpit plans are functionally equivalent to MyWikis Quantum plans.
- Why can't we simply install Datencockpit on the extensions management page in MyWikis Self Service?
- Datencockpit is not an extension of MediaWiki—it is a full suite of tools that adds new pages, bundles of extensions, and database changes to a standard MediaWiki instance. Rather than having to install the extensions manually one-by-one, our Datencockpit solution provides a one-click experience, so everything just works right out of the box.
